I live not far from their terminal and know plenty of drivers in the area that have worked there over the years. And they are going down hill ever since they let Ted Weems go and Judy left as dispatcher. They have had some dispatchers come from other companies in the area that "belly up"

They never stand behind their drivers anymore, if you get a over gross load they don't care they expect you to run it.. The driver is always wrong. They talk about their new offices like it is a big thing...The only big thing is Forward Air wanted them out of their offices.

This is what happens when you give a good company to family members to run. A college degree don't make you smart if you have no common sense and people skills.

Transflow (free fax) those logs at a Pilot or Loves = you keep the original copies.

You can even fax right out of your truck ( transflow now!)

Little Red,

Go look up the actual company you are talking about, its not Landair Transport.

Also, everyone should watch for the next 3 mos. when quite a few companies go out of business. Landair will be around, and the only drivers left will be the good ones. By good drivers, I mean drivers that actually work hard and have the courage not to let their wives post in a message board. Take it somewhere else, the whining is ridiculous. Drivers have a terrible job, its true. But, its not the company's fault that the driver never got an education and cant do anything else.

Okay, the dude gets a misdemeanor. If you are a responsible adult, you are not out getting misdemeanors!! That pretty much qualifies you as an irresponsible lowlife. What's worse is, you have your wife (girlfriend) on a message board crying the blues for you. I'm sorry, I just have no sympathy for the likes of you.

Landair fires the guy because he gets a misdemeanor...good for them. I look at it as that's a company I would want to drive for. Don't want to drive for a company that keeps thugs in their trucks.

Landair has been having service issues for a while. Most likely due to the age of the fleet. Too many older trucks. I see a lot of dropped trailers and not enough loaded rollers these days. Exactly why I did not go there.
