Hah! darn near peed myself! Anyone read the ongoing diary from trans am drivers? Entertaining to say the least.

Read his other posts, he was supposedly starting school April 18, 2013 but on April 18, 2014posts he has driven 35,000 miles been paid $625.26 , owes $9200.00

 

The naive are abundance ! When will they start reading the fine print of these lease deals? When will they understand it cost more around $1.45 to run a truck these days, .84 CPM isn't even close, is there a fuel surcharge on top of this .84? It better be at least .65 CPM!

 

Worst part is these N00bz that have no clue make it hard for everyone when it comes to rates. Every time they run for free it screws every truck driver on the road. We need to start working on things we can do to get them off the road. When I see a driver running under these mega carrier flags pull some unsafe stunt, I call it in to their safety dept. and law enforcement if the offense is serious enough and warrants it. There are far too many kids on the road that don't belong there for safety reasons as well as financial ones. I know it's a useless battle but it makes me feel better.

Like I've been saying...LEASE PURCHASE = RIP OFF SCHEME. It's a shame what Trans Am turned into after Johnny Jacobson handed what used to be a good company to that lying scumbag peice of ##### Russ McEliot and his corporate cronies. There should be a law BANNING these lease purchase programs outright, along with SEVERE penalties (like prison sentences,or if it were up to me, public execution) against company officers who dream up and run these glorified Ponzi schemes.. They are nothing but a way for these crooks to scam people, and anyone on here who praises them are nothing but reps for those companies (prime, trans am, etc) posing as drivers..( and I have gone to sites like complaint report.com and others and seen those same exact user names on there trying to dispel any complaints against those lease-purchase companies.)
