i don't drive for melton, but my truck does have a "beeper" as you call it, your comment sounds like your a few frys short of a happy meal. Maybe get a hobby in your spare time other than letting a beep bother you so greatly. Jesus Christ lol

 

And I would LOVE if someone came up to me talking **** about it... Over something I have no control over, yep I believe if some ####### had the balls to say somethin it would probably be entertaining the beat down he would receive. Make my day! Lol

 

I remember the back up beeper issue from years ago while working on Pax River NAS. But it was never put into law. Now i however had them installed on all the trucks i drove, as I was tired of people walking behind my moving trucks. Diddnt help. But I felt better. Also nobody was tring to sleep around me. That was in the 90's

 

The beepers dont bother me as much as the folk slamming the same door 74 times
getting in and out.Makes me wonder if they're doing laps through the cab?
OP if your really that pizd,maybe buy one of those handheld boat airhornes?
Use it when your leaving to let backup beeper guy know your leaving now.
Safety first.We should have forward,and reverse beepers.

Does'nt bother me either.I didn't let things bother me when I was OTR.Nothing disturbed my sleep.

 

Music to my ears actually. Neither bother me. A back up beeper would. Probably not to the extent it bothers some people apparently tho.
