YouTube media blitz?

If it's on the internet, it has to be true....

 

That's right.

 

Ahhhh Internet youtube truckers! The best kind. Gotta love their videos. Each one knows more about trucking than the next and they all have a year or less of experience. And if they have more, they are job hoppers and spend too much time speaking to their watchers. Nobody told these lunatics that they are as entertaining as watching paint dry. To take anything these wannabe Stars say seriously is insane.

 

While I do agree that companies are well aware of the power of media and use facebook, twitter and youtube to market themselves...
It is also true that some drivers new and old use youtube to create another revenue stream... some of these guys and gals make money off their youtube videos. .. I have a friend who makes around $100 a week on his youtube channel...and is hoping to get it up to earning him an extra $200 a week....

I have found some useful information and tips on youtube... but it is like any other information source.. I have to evalute the information for myself and cross check it....

 

Take the negatives with the same grain of salt

two of the worst are Thor and MR. Sinister. Both drive for Knight. And let me tell you they have Gallons of company koolAid. And they love to not only drink it themselves but hope everyone else does also. Then you have Little Guy Trucker and his pal Trainer James who drive for Raven. Now Raven seams like a good company but thoose two are just trying to make money off people joining the team. Yea I do alot of watching myself and it has helped me make my choice a little less stressfull.

 

Your heart is in the right place O.P...if you can save just 1 poor fool with high hopes from getting bent over, then you have at least accomplished something...keep It up!
