Beware of SuperService. The employees are ok, but their equipment is awful. The average truck is a 2012 and has 750,000+ miles, and none of their trucks have APU's or even simple 150 watt invertors or USB's. Their trailers are even worse.

They are not the worst trucking company, but their equipment is ancient history and getting simple maintenance or repairs is like pulling teeth.

Also, for you newbies considering SuperService: Beware of a trainer named Dana. He takes his training position WAY too seriously.

Again, they aren't the worst company out there. But keep your eyes wide open going into it. And avoid Trainer Dana.

3 year old trucks?!?! Oh the horror! Hopefully they'll get shut down. How dare they not turn their entire fleet over every year or two.

It's not the age of the truck, it's how it is equipped and maintained...

He is a former detective on the TV show, "Hawaii Five-0"..... The series covers the actions of a small special state task force created by the Governor of Hawaii, Pat Jameson, to investigate serious crimes throughout the Islands, as Hawaii does not have a conventional state police force. The team is headed by Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett, USNR (and former Navy SEAL) as it investigates crimes ranging from terrorism to kidnapping. McGarrett chooses as his partner Honolulu PD Detective Danny (Dana) Williams (former military 20 yrs.- 6 yrs. Navy Seal/ 6 yrs. Army Delta Force/ 6 yrs. Marine Recon/2 yrs. US Coast Guard drug interdiction.

That was quite the career change for Dana. Apparently, his former career has prepared him well for the rigors of driver training.

The one thing we can do here in Kansas is math. It's not too hard to figure out that that unless they're all team trucks, there's no way 3 year old trucks are going to have 750,000+ miles. 6 year old truck, yes. Before you got hired, did you ask about APU's, inverters, age of the trucks, etc...?

Better stock up on Kleenex , there aren't many decent companies out there who are willing to buy new trucks and equip them with APU's, inverters, satellite TV, sleep number beds, refrigerators, microwaves, and XM radio every two years and turn over the keys to a new driver.

Does super service even team? Sounds like trainer Dana held the op to standards he couldn't attain.

And recommend he not get hired.
