Dont work for this company they claim you can get 2500 miles weekly, what they dont tell you is how many trips you have to do to get this miles
also they dont pay detention. You will spend around 40 to 60 hours at a dock not getting paid to make this. Your average, trip is 130 to 300 mile trips and, if you complain they like to punish you and make you sit there for a day and not get paid. They did this to me twice sat for 34 one day and 28 another day. They claim you can refuse a load but if you do you get fired and then they claim that you quit. This company definately suck
Hopefully nobody will ever work for them again and they can go out of business.

LOL. I worked for them years ago. Ya. I did probably 5 to 6 loads a week and I did get my 2500 to 3000 miles per week. I busted my butt for this company. I was a new driver and didnt know any better. Occassionally an incident would happen and I wouldnt get my safety bonus of $500 bucks. When I left, in addition to loosing my bonus, they reported every one to DAC and then one that didnt happen. In my opinion, they tried to prevent me from getting another job. This was close to nine yrs ago. This would be a good company for someone who lives in Atlanta or Valdosta, Ga. and needs to be home every week. Oh! I almost forgot. I constantly had problems with the payroll dept. One of the reasons I left. They may have straightened that out by now.

david huber Thanks this. -
I guess they should have just left those incidents out of your DAC, so you could go to another company and have more incidents. Get real, they weren't trying to prevent you from getting another job. It sounds like you did that your self with "occasional incidents". Man up and take responsability for your actions.DriveStyer and Eskimo6804 Thank this. -
Same ol' story in part: A guy screws up on a semi-regular basis but of course it's not his fault.

I am actually employed with this company at present and I have no problems with them. Yeah every company has it's BS, it just depends how much BS you are willing to put up with. I can deal with a little BS if my chacks are right. So from what I have read, Davis used to be a bad company to work for. I have never had a problem getting my safety bonuses or detention pay. So for me it is working out fine, may not be the same for the next driver......My two cents....
