I talked to them about 5 yrs ago. Nice fast trucks, but when I asked how often I would get home running solo, they said I would expect to be out over a month at a time. The price and specs on those trucks would probably warrant staying out. You couldn't take time off and keep up with those kinds of payments. Maybe okay if you are single and your life would be all around that truck, but thats not where i wanted to be.

I'm a sucker too!

I got took by them but it was only one month i am currently in dispute over them with the ar labor board and the IRS and soon going to an attorney. If more people would file a complaint they can stop companies like them. It is just a lengthy process. Most people give up...they have yet to meet my wife!!!! I have a post on them and just found this one..Contact me if u or someone u know can help. Spread the word!

no we never quit

we paid for our truck we have papers to prove it. we came into the yard to get some work done on our truck when we came back they had it lock up in the shop wouldn't let us get it or i things out of it. told my husband to come back in 7 days. when we did told him he was fired for a ticket he had 6 months before. ( ticket was for shutdown on another truck we leased from them while ours was getting fix got to cal. had bad tire they told us to drive on it wouldn't fix it got stop and fine the company even fine us 350.00 for it. we later found out that truck was shutdown and wasn't surpose to be driven.) also found out the truck we paid for they couldn't sell they didn't have the title to it they had three loans on it. we made our payments and three months extra paid all repairs. they still owe us the last month of loads we haul. we arn't the first ones they did this to either we have three friends that all they did was come in the yard to meeting with the steinert boys then they made up reasons to fire them and take their trucks. we never even got to get all of our belongings out of the truck they kept our xm radio part of my husband tools. they gave us ten minutes to get what we could the we had to vacate property.
stay far far away from this den of liars. they treat you good the first few months to sucker you in after that they steal all your money. we was lucky to get 200. a month . the last 6 mths. there. this is the worst company if you want to call them that that i ever seen the steinert boys know what i say is true so you will never here anything from them. we are at a good company now. that is the only good thing that came from this.

Just take a look at their SafeStat, that tells a pretty scarey story.

If I had three friends that got ripped off I don't believe i would have started there at all or at least quit as soon as i found out the truth. if a truck is shutdown it has to have an out of service sticker on it from the dot,Did it not have this on it,if it did and you drove that truck out of a scale or any place it was put and in inpound, you could lose your license for a year plus a 10,000 dollar fine. Any how ,glad you left there. You didn't get your truck stolen, they took it from you,and if you stayed you'd still be working for free, say goodbye and chock it up like I have three or four times in 40 yrs, just let others know all about them, they'll pay sooner or later. I hope you wrote or emailed the dot about them and their practices, they will put them on a watch list if you all tell the dot about them.
