jb hunt lease purchase scam

stay away from jb hunt lp. this is a legal scam. 99 % of drivers quit at the first months; no miles/loads, you will be stocked in the northeast with no layover pay for weekends. also if you quit you will never see your last check and they charge you a termination fee of 3500 and a bad dac report. stay away from this company, do not suffer the concecuences.

I still don't understand how so many drivers get caught up in fleece purchase deals.

Doesn't anyone ever read about others experiences in the lease programs on here? The lease only benefits the company in most cases.

The 3500.00 term fee is in the contract you sign in the beginning, so you really can't hold that against them. If someone is dumb enough to sign such a thing, they deserve to be charged.

thats an easy one to answer,

there is constantly new meat coming out of the cdl mills that believe whatever the companies tell them and take it a Gospel.

You guys never learn. Just think about it in a logical sense. A lease purchase only benefits the company. Who /what gets paid first? The truck payment, the Insurance payment, the fuel, the escrow, the maintainence fund, etc, etc, etc. If there's anything left over, the driver gets it. You take the freight that is given you, you cannot make any modifications to the truck, AND, they do the bookwork. And you guys fall for this all the time. Oh, did I mention, you're getting a worn out truck also?

Unhappy

last weeks settlements after expenses , all that without load refusal and not days off taken:

$ 181
$ 193
$ 213
$ 79
like you see this is not enough for over the road meals and you can't pay your bills with this miserable earning . stay away from them, do not lease and learn from other truckers experiences.
