Word is Smiley is not a happy camper. I don't think she even comes on this forum much if ever.

There's more people missing than that. How about Dr. Venture? Remember like a year ago, he and Etch would defend lease-operating. Now Venture is silent and Etch is leased onto Schneider.

At Roehl, once they switched me to a deficient truck, my batteries would run out of energy while I was home. I kept having to call breakdown, each of the last 5 or 6 times I started up for the 11 days. I'd wait on hold for a half hour, then the first few times they'd tell me to try to jump it off of my Corolla, then I'd have to call back, wait on hold half an hour and tell them what happened and then they'd finally call the service truck. An hour later it would show up. It would take at least a half hour to get it started. I'm not getting paid for any of this.
Eventually they figured out my Corolla cannot jumpstart a broken-down Frieghtliner (in theory it should, though) and stopped asking me to but the rest of this ordeal was how I went to work every other week.
They brought me to Gary, and they changed one of the four batteries. With three deficient batteries and one good one the pattern just continued. If you ever run across truck 4365, ask the driver how the batteries are holding up. And how he plans to survive the winter with idle standards but no APU.
While driving for J&R, my APU broke. Maintenance answered the phone immediately, we talked about the problem, and they determined it needed to be fixed at a shop. They put me in a hotel for the night and arranged repairs the next morning. I had the problem for all of one night.
If Roehl ran the way Schugel does, we wouldn't be searching for Smiley, Layne, Venture, etc.thelastrebel Thanks this. -
