I have looked through all of the old posts about western flatbed but haven't seen any new responses lately. So I was wondering how it is these days? I've seen some answers saying people were running as far as Michigan and some say they run more phoenix to LA and around the coast. How many miles have you been getting? Flattop trucks and/or condos? Are the trailers getting old and beat up or are they pretty good at cycling out trailers? How often do you guys run I-10?
    Thanks

Can't say about Western Regional, but I've been impressed by the quality and newness of the flat trailers. Most are fairly recent, or even new, East or Fontaine units.

I waz hoping you would get answers on the how many miles and do you mInly run i10. I am not western but they tell me that they will run all over. The deal is their loads must be 80 or 90 percent in the western.

I was also hoping there would be more information from a western based Roehl flatbedder. I'm looking at having to go back regional, and Roehl was always very good about hometime and company driver pay when I worked for them back in 2005...but that was prior to them having much of a west of I-35 presence at all. Any current Roehl folks, can you speak to the crew at the Phoenix terminal? How are the DMs out of there? How have miles been across the fleet with the winter setting in? My other option is Schneider, but I'd like to go back flatbed if I have to drive at all. I'm conflicted.
