Oh that's easy. Best truck still made is the kenworth W900L. I had one before. Sold it. Biggest regret of my life.

Nice... the truck my husband and I had leased was the Prostar with Maxforce... ran so quiet ya didn't know it was running. Had some problems with it but like I said 'had'. Was just curious what people's opinions were. I will form my own when I learn what I need to learn :biggrin_25525: Never drove his prostar except to move axles... so I really don't know much of anything. But then again that is why I am going to school! May 5th here I come and I am going to go with the strong attitude of "I KNOW NOTHING." Better to relearn the right way than hearsay.

Do they have refrigerators or do you have to provide one. OS I have a question since you are from Ohio also. I am from the Akron area.is there a way to go from here to marshfield that is cheaper or better than the other with the toll roads or pretty much coat the same if I don't want to take a bunch of extra time getting there. Going 4\28 to start my class and looked and atlas but they all seem about the same time to me and looks like no matter which way I got there are tolls.

Ohio and Indiana toll s aren't bad in a car and Roehl reimburses you the tolls. Just get RECIEPTS from toll taker. Now to avoid higher ones, when you get to the western end of Indiana on 80/90 take interstate 90 to I-65 south to i80/94. The ramp is still under construction I believe from the 80/90 split normally you don't take 65. This way you avoid the high toll over the skyway bridge. Then if you go on a weekend, just take I-94 west towards Milwaukee, then I-894 west to US45 north. Then US41 north at the split. When you get near Oshkosh take the ramp for US45 north to US10 west until you get to Stevens Point, take a right onto the ramp for I-39 north which is still US10. Take the exit for 10 west about 30 miles to WI13 north in Marshfield. You will get to know this route pretty good. One of Roehls favorites. You can take 90 all the way west to I-39 north, but more tolls that way.

Which way would be faster. I plan on leave on sat and stay overnite somewhere just once in Illinois but not sure yet. I wanted to get somewhere off the highway by my route. I really appreciate it.

Both about the same really. Hotels off everywhere. Honestly, in a car, I'd probably drive straight thru. From Akron, you can do 70 most of the way. Last year when I moved from MA, to MN, I drove my car to MN in about 22 hrs. Then slept about 15.

I had thought about driving straight through but if I do it will be on sat so I can get good rest before I start school on Monday. Thanks Bayle if I ever get to meet you out on the road I'll buy you lunch.

If you want to go around Cleveland taking 90 west. Take 271 south to US422 west until it runs into I-480 to I-80.
