You've trained over a hundred students in 6 Years. Hmmmm. A student every 3 weeks, not taking anytime off. For hometime, holidays, vacation that's dedication. Almost unbelievable dedication.

My mistake that was over a hundred in 5 Years. Wow. Less than 2 weeks per student. Now that's a super trainer.

I believe Roehl's training program is out with a trainer for 10 to 13 days. So it is totally believable.

Yeah, you go out with a trainer for 9 - 13 days. So, it is possible.

I am on the road about 320 days a year. Yes, I don't get home much usually a week about every 60 -75 days, couple times I have been out over 90 days straight. I have a student for roughly 10-13 days, and almost always pick one up at the same terminal as I am dropping one off to test out. Literally one student is exiting one door while new student is entering from other door. Maybe after every 5th or 6th student I will have 1-2 days without one before I get to the next terminal to pick up the next student.
Only time I do not have a student is the 2-3 days after I leave home.
So I can safely say that I have trained around 25 students a year for the past 5 years, or somewhere around 120 total students.
Sacrificing hometime now, so I can retire in 4 more years at only 52 years of age.

how is the agility test for the flatbed division? I'm looking at going to the flatbed division after I get out of the Army and finish truck driving school.

If you go back one page on this thread there is a link for the test...but being in the Army you should have no problem doing it. They say its not to bad...the hardest part looks like carry 75lbs for 53' and back again. The target heart rate is 220-your age * 9%...can't go over this number.

I train in Flatbed. Although I sometimes pull a van for training when I have a female student. There are so few of us gender certified trainers that a female student may have to wait several days to get a van trainer. So if I am available, I will pull a van while training a female van student.
