Roll of baling wire, zip ties, extra fluids, lead weighted tire thumper, canned food you'll eat but don't necessarily care for, fan, 3' crow bar for moving 5th wheel w/o trailer if necessary, ibuprofen as well as Tylenol....

Thread popped up in side bar. Just realized it was Roehl.

Add a good working pressure gauge.

Then you may need a longer crow bar then three feet !?! Kidding a side , crow bars come in handy once in a while.

Very good information here, Lets keep the items coming. Hopefully New drivers like myself(Soon) will be able to take this and get a great start and preparing their trucks for the road.

or you can go flatbed. All kinds of uses for a winch bar.
For a coffee maker, get yourself a french press and steal hot water from the truck stop, Plus, best cup of coffee you'll have and requires no power.
Dry erase markers. Great for writing your directions on the little side window.
Gonna pull flatbed, staple gun of some sort. Very useful when you need to secure the plastic over your load to the deck. Can't let that steel get wet.
Packets of instant oatmeal. The quaker oats packs are waterproof so you can add hot water (free in your truckstop) directly into into that pack. Pair it with a free plastic spoon, aslo from the truck stop, and you get breakfast with no cleanup. On the topic of food. Peanuts. A handful makes a good snack to hold you over between meals.
    Clipboard
That's all I got for now.

Where did you go that you had to secure the plastic. Anywhere I went, shippers did themselves.

Atlas tube up in Ontario. They rolled a big sheet of it over our 44' square tubing. Should staple it down otherwise it can blow up on top and leave your sides exposed to some water.
