No sir, but I am do know that is the only place Brooksville is known for. Hope your delivery goes smooth and you get a load right away. Keep up the good work.

One thing I can tell you if you are going to a wal-mart. you can not arrive more than an hour early or they will turn you away and tell you to come back. Also, jut because you arrive at the guard house an hour early, dont mess around n the truck. Get into the office asap as they will consider you late if you get to the window more than a minute late...and there is usually a long line to check in. Most of them dont care if you were there 30 minutes and had to wait 31 to get to the window...you are considered late at that point.

    I hate delivering to wal-mart.

    3-1.... He's gonna drop it. :biggrin_25525:

I've "live unloaded" only one load since I've been with Schneider, and I hit Wal-Mart at least once a week.

And we can generally drop it. Whenever we get there.

Well, if its a D/H then he's good! I always drove reefer with Prime...which wasted a LOT of my time with loads/unloads.

That's why I don't do reefer no more. Miles was great most times. But, when you spend 12 hours at the receiver. What's the point?

I did pull a reefer (several actually) for Schneider a couple of weeks ago. Wal-Mart and Sam's Club store deliveries. In and out within an hour. Life is different when it says Wal-Mart on the trailer LOL.

Did you run out of the Charlottesville va area wally world distribution center. I filled in there for 2 weeks when they were short driver's and it wasn't to bad all drop and hook for me and always a parking spot at night. Usually at the walmart store they never bother a driver if he's hooked to a wally world trailer.

I filled in at Washington Court House. Wasn't bad....but daaaaaamn it got a bit confusing. They pulled in too many trucks. Still made out pretty good though :D

Parking, as you said. A breeze when you have that trailer.

    Thank you all,

Delivery went good, dropped and then hooked up to an empty to go back up into North Florida, dropped the empty and picked up a load and dropped it in Albany Georgia for relay to another driving, all total added another 220 miles.

Sunday holiday traffic sucked! They say LA drivers are bad, huh! there was epidemic of fender benders and crashes north on I 75 (Florida) all day long, saw it going south to delivery then drove in it going north watching it happen again to the south side. Over 20 - 30 miles of back up! whew! Everyone trying get home after holidays i guess..

Anyway! After drop in Albany then got dispatched to pick up a load ... guess where!:biggrin_25517: yep, Walmart again! So had to bobtail to Douglas GA, about 60 miles and pick up load going to Missouri .. about 690 more miles to go. Delivers on Thursday so got some time to slow down a bit and hopefully my hours can catch up to me..

    Be Safe!

SNI has, evidently shortened their road training to just a week. My instructors are very skeptical that this is enough time to break in a new driver. I have to admit it seems like the opposite extreme to others 6 weeks...what do you folks think? Is it enough to make a newbie into a safe driver?
