I was told that Schneider gives a Christmas bonus. Is that true? I cant seem to find anything on it.

I didn't see one on my pay stub last year, But getting me home late evening on the 23rd and not heading out till the afternoon of the 26th more than made up for it.

we got a 1000$ bonus this year bizz was real good. last yr was 500$ and ive made 4000 mor than last year.plus if we dont use any sick days we get 300 bonus and a weeks pay that sounds pretty good if u ask me. thats the benifits of working foe a small co who knows what they r doing. Instead of working for a big name co where u just a number.

Schneider doesn't do Christmas bonuses for Driver's unless you count the quarterly bonus if you qualify but that pays in January. Merry Christmas

Thats great man. I havent heard anything about being home for Christmas, and since I am usually out on the day Christmas falls on ( I drive dedicated) Im just assuming I'll be out on Christmas day as well.
-
is there a place to see if you are going to get the bonus, besides just waiting to see if it ends up on a paycheck? is it usually the beginning or end of january? sorry for all the questions, i just started in october so im still figuring everything out.
-
if you started in Oct you are probably not eligible until you've been here a complete quarter however if you are eligible there is a macro you can send in and it will tell you your percentages and based on that you should be able to tell. And the payout is always the 3rd friday after the 1st monday of the payout month.

It just occured to me that Walmarts are closed on Christmas day. I drive on the dedicated Walmart route. Anyone have an idea of what I will be doing? are distribution centers open, or will I just be hanging out waiting to go first thing the next morning?

I'd ask to be home if i were you. But your DBL is the one to ask.....

Its my first year, I just started a few months ago, so I dont really want to step on any toes by asking, being the new guy and all. While I would love to be home for christmas day, it wouldn't be a huge deal if Im not as I have already planned on being out, so my wife and our boys are going to go home for Florida to spend Christmas with her family, which she hasnt done in about 4 years, so they will not be there anyways and we already planned our Christmas celebration for next week when I am usually home. I just wasn't sure what I would be doing.
