    Waving from the Dallas OC...............

Heading back home to LA after being in the South East region for 3 weeks. Should be home on Thursday the 27th. I have been busy running all over the southeast, averaged about 2600 miles per week. Got to visit my mom in Arkansas and see my kids in Florida. Was a very good trip indeed!!!

I plan on coming back out this way again, enjoy running the new routes and seeing new sights. Running up and down I-5 in Cali gets real boring!!!

Schneider is still treating me well, I have no complaints. I submitted the form to get off of forced per-diem to my dbl. He says payroll received it and will begin on Jan 1st. Also started receiving my tuition reimbursement each month, to the tune of $150. Nice...........

Truck still running very well, no problems.....

Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.

You rather get paid more and have to pay taxes at the end of the year too with per diem?

Waving from the Flying J in Amarillo..........

Been busy since returning on Jan 2nd.

Ran from Fontana to Long Beach, Long Beach to Denver, Denver to Dallas, Dallas to Rogers AR, Rogers to Detroit, Detroit to Nashville, Nashville to Dallas, Dallas to Springfield MO, Springfield back to Dallas, and now Dallas back to Denver.

Getting right at 3000 a week in miles.

Overall no weather problems, until this morning when we had Thunder Snow in Dallas! Got a half inch of ice and snow in about an hour, between 6 am and 7 am. Traffic was a mess, all the interstate ramps were closed, trucks stuck everywhere. I waited and left the OC at 10 and had no problems, since it had warmed up a bit and they had plowed/salted most of the roads.

I am currently working on a mechanical device to allow me to idle whenever I want.....curse this ambient air sensor!

Not alot else to report, just running.

    Stay safe.

    Grijon Thanks this.

Buying dry ice is going to get expensive. Your not going to defeat that ambient sensor.
