I've got it on good authority that by third quarter, OutOfRoute (OOR) will be history for both Performance and Bonus requirements.

It's been so difficult to even get an accurate accounting of the actual percentages that they are dropping the metric completely. MilesPerGallon (MPG) will/is becoming the hot topic of the day. ;)

better metric anyway in my opinion . For dedicated and some runs we do and that I did on another account, it would blow that 2% business out of the water. If the talk is about fuel economy and savings there, then some of the changes we make to navigo runs are better in the long run IMO. Add 10 or so miles and stay on cruise rather than up/down shift for the 2 lane through towns routes they always route me on.

One of the top reasons for otr was to many drivers going out of route to stop by the house. Mpg going to b pia because if one week u get heavy load after heavy load mpg will suck.

I hope out of route goes away! That's the biggest thing that's killing me right now, and I use their routing most of the time (unless it's taking me down a restricted route).

I had to go out of route once just to find a place to park for the night.

That was what killed me up in the Northeast when they kept me up there pretty much the entire time I drove for SNI as a company driver, finding a place to park usually involved a bit of travel and time.
