Excellent advice. Money well spent. I have a truck stop 300w inverter I use in my Crete truck for light applications, but anything larger would benefit greatly from a quality sine wave inverter.

dfo put up a link for a sine wave inverter he was looking at getting installed. Or maybe he just sent it to me? Probably around here somewhere in his thread....

Which is why I didn't do it. Way too much money and poor quality. Plan on getting a sine wave inverter eventually.

They won't be installing it for me. I have better things to do with $400.

    Completely agree moosc.

Besides that inverter is a little too small and over priced like everything else SNI sells, have you ever looked in the company stores :biggrin_2552:

I have already been researching inverters and will be buying and installing myself a xantrex inverter.

Thirty minute walk from the truck stop was Orange County Choppers! Pretty cool place. All kinds of bikes, retail shop, viewing area to watch them build the bikes in the shop you see on TV, bowling alley, and cafe with full bar. Here's some pics:

I would go that route (installing one myself), but SNI probably has a policy against blowing things up, either by design or accidentally! (50% of smart is knowing what you're dumb at. Electricity falls into the latter category for me...)

BTW....being as I am a CPAP user, does SNI provide an inverter for O/Os as they do for company drivers?

    chicknwing and mickeyrat Thank this.
