Does Schenider have a lot of glider Columbias? I know they didn't have them years ago. I don't know they are pre 2007 models, I don't know what Series 60 they have in them. How old are these? How many do they have?

They have Glider Cascadias, but it wasn't until recently I saw Columbias and they don't look that raggedy. Previously all they had was the Century Class. If someone could answer what years the Columbias are that would be great.

Curious as to what motor are they running in the Cascadia gliders? I though Cascadia were only released with DD13/DD15 or ISX Cummins, if that is the case, what is the purpose of the glider?

    Thanks Stan

Their 2003 and 2004 models as far as I know. Pretty sure mine is a year 2004 model. Mine is registered as a 2012 though.

*sigh* if its regsistered as a 2012 then its NOT a 2004! That's what a glider is. This is what I was asking. :) I know they did not have these in 2004! Or they would have been sold off. They are selling 2006 and 2007 model year trucks. 2004 stuff is gone from what I can see.

I don't know how much clearer I can put it. They took the powertrain from a 2004 model tractor, rebuilt it completely, stuck it in a new shell and call it a 2012. It's a pre-egr series 60 and they don't make those engines new anymore. The columbia a are registered as 2011 and 2012 models, but again, I think I've made it clear that they are effectively 2003 and 2004 powertrains rebuilt.

Ps, there are no cascadia gliders

Thanks for the info Steve and sorry about the confusion. This is kinda exciting. I really miss the pre-emissions Series 60...but I don't want to switch to the pumpkin...
