    5k you put down and SFI matches it when lease is up for the residual or lease a new truck if you complete lease and walk away you only get your original money as well as maintenance fund after truck inspection and all is released. The 5k they match is an incentive to read lease or purchase.

    I know that but wbere does the 5k sit in a massive vault or in a bank? If in a bank why isnt it collecting interest? And if it is getting interest then why dont they disclose this. Maybe i should have ooida look into it. Seems shady

    I'd say them matching your 5k is more than interest would pay but I guess you could investigate and I'm not sure if it pays interest or not.

    Their not really matching anything if I understood you properly. You said you don't get the "matching" $5k if you walk away at the end of the lease. So they will put the "matching" $5k on the next lease, so after you complete your 2nd lease do you then get that $5k?

    If not then it's nothing more than a deposit. After fulfilling the first lease they don't charge you a deposit on the second lease because you've established some credit.

    Honestly I don't mind putting up a deposit for a nicer truck, but let's call it what it is if they don't hand you $10k at the end.

    Well in just 8 days I will Officially be 21 and I hope that some one on here would like to buy me my very First Beer. I have no friends and I'm kinda wanting to do the whole whew who thing when you turn Legal age. Now I know it's hard to believe but in my case 21 only comes around once a year so this will be your only chance to help me celebrate until next 9-11 when I turn 21. Any takers?
