I fuel when I am near the best priced fuel,

 

Diesel is 3.519 at my local Sams club today I filled up my truck well my P/U truck but did consider taking the big rig up there also....

 

With a little planning it's not hard to hit the cheaper states. Why pay an extra $100 if you don't have to.

Schneider doesn't allow you to use their fuel program? They don't pay what's on the pump.

 

We get discounts at the Truck stops but at 3.519 a gallon I'll pay cash because at the truck stop about 30 miles from the house it was 3.799 cash price.

All pennies saved is 1 less I have to earn.....

 

As IC, I fuel as needed and do try to do it at the start of my day and/or end of day if possible. Like to plan it so I'm not filling up on Monday only put in enough fuel to get me where I need to be by Tuesday morning. It puts more money in my pocket for that week and that works best for me. Also use Flying J most all the time because we get the highest discount there, plus the points add up too giving ya some store money to buy stuff.

 

I try and save where I can..but up here it's all expensive.

Rates are good though.

I'm averaging 7.5 mpg loaded with 20-40K in the box running 67mph.

That seems to be the sweet spot for the MX13.

As for saving money..we all know TennMan rules the roost.
