I've stuck in the Northeast doing short loads waiting for something not cheap to get me out. It's been 7 days so far and I'm booked for another 2 days.. my record for being stuck in the Northeast is 11 days.
I refuse to leave for less than $1.40 all miles.. determined to wait it out! :smt066

Previous three times I've been here I managed loads to Ohio, Arkansas (west memphis) and Georgia ranging between $1.43-$1.62 all miles on loads leaving NY twice and NJ once.
Time I waited 11 days though I was about ready to drive off a bridge lol.

The best way I've found (may not be the best) is thru Pittsburg. Tunkhannock to Pittsburg.

Yeah that load is always there, the pay is nothing special but OKAY. Problem is 9 times out of 10 is that the only loads that pay anything around that area head back east.

I got suckered back to Raymond, NH with a load paying over $2.65 per mile from WV, then I have a .88 cpm load to Indianapolis. It averages out ok, but it hurts to pick it. Lol

My average for all miles between the load to NH and back out is $1.70, so I'm fine with that. It just feels wrong booking it that way. I was lined up pretty nice, but my load from pasadena, TX to ogden, ut canceled so I had to start redoing the week.

That's good.. but man clicking on .88 all the way to IN is painful.
I'm trying to get out of the Northeast still, looks like I'll have to go to Pittsburgh and work my way out from there doing multiple loads.
