Looking for details of what Schneider pays new COMPANY drivers for VAN vs TANKER.

I'm only interested in hearing from those that actually work (or have worked) for Schneider.

I'm hoping to learn all details of all possible scenarios of pay, down to the last penny. Layovers, excessive breakdowns, chasing ghost trailers, etc, etc, so on and so forth.

    Thank you for your help!

Can't speak on van but for bulk its:

.33 - .37 per mile for new inexperienced drivers - all miles (depends on where you live)
    $25 load/unload first 2 hours
    $10 demurge after 2 hours
    $50 canada border crossing
$65 24 hour layover (doesnt pay out until 24 hours or if you are home)
Breakdown is same as layover in my experience but I have heard of people getting paid for co. time
CO. Time: $40 for 4 hours, $60 for 6 hours, $100 for 8 hours (basicaly $10 per hour but its rounded)
    $25 supervised wash (very rare)
    Short Haul: $40 for 100 miles or less, $25 for 200, $10 for 300

    No holiday pay
Bonus paid quarterly, factors include >7.0 mpg, service exceptions, speed above 60 mph, and the usual accidents/citations etc

    Hope this helps.

.30 to .33 for inexperienced hires (again dependent on region and LOB)
Detention is $15 after two hours, then $15 per additional hour
For Midwest Regional short haul less than 300 miles an additional 2 CPM, less than 200 an additional 10 CPM
Breakdown and layover (away from home) is $65 per 24 hours (DBL has some discretion)
Stop off is $15 after the first stop

Bonus is between 1.5 and 2.5 CPM based on fuel economy, eta, fuel compliance, days worked, and preventable accidents.

I run MW Regional and have

Don't know if you are aware but anytime you have to wait on the wash, like say they didn't do the DOW prep or you are waiting on them them to finish the prep and it's past your hook time you can get supervised wash pay. Or if the trailer had product leak out of the dome or Washouts. It doesn't have to be a complete wash out.

    knuckledragger and harlycharly55 Thank this.

What OC are you based out of, and are you OTR or Regional?
