I've got a question. If I'm starting my day fueling, and pretrip.... how do i show those together in the mcp? It only lets me pick one thing. Just like when I'm at a shipper or receiver and I d&h I have to post trip the drop, then show off duty, then go back on duty to pretrip..... Is there a way to put these sorts of things together?

Look close next time on the duty status screen where you would select pre-trip, post-trip, etc. Look to the right and there is another one right next to it. This way you can show pre-trip/fueling at the same time.

Ok folks. Been a while since i updated. What an exciting week. My cell phone for all intents and purposes is a paper weight at this point. I was at the carlisle oc the other day and all of a sudden the screen just quit working. I figured "no problem I pay extra for "geek squad protection" .... what a let down. I borrow the company car (how cool is Schneider to provide this luxury btw...?) drive down to best buy only to be told we dont replace it on the spot, we have to order a replacement and it will be here in 3-5 days. I WONT! So they are shipping it to a mall in Massachusetts that i frequently find myself near. I can answer calls because the screen still reacts to touch, but the display is totally out. No texting, no outbound calls, no ability to tether to my computer so I'm at the mercy of finding wifi.

Ok, I hate to make 2 posts in a row, but the last one was about life.. and I assume most people reading this have very little interest in my life. This post will contain numbers. If there is any information missing that you feel would be helpful , please let me know. The only exception is exact pickup and delivery locations. I have decided it's not in my best interest to list these for 2 reasons. #1 Because if I carve out a route that works for me, what good does it do to put it out on the world wide interwebs? It just makes it easy for somebody else to be lazy, and potentially hurt my feelings lol. #2 because I've seen enough of the trucking industry to know that there is almost no limit to what brokers/trucking companies will do to steal business from each other. Start listing exact locations, and through the process of elimination another company could figure out the customer and underbid us. Not good for anybody. I have no problem giving a general idea of where I'm running, and have no problem helping somebody else if they feel I could help them in some way..... now NUMBERS!!!

    Pay period ending 10/27

I hauled 5 loads, totaling 1979 miles. (deadhead included)
Average length of haul: 396 miles
    Gross revenue was $3404.77
Average rate per mile loaded and unloaded was $1.72.
Net was 1471.67 netting the truck approximately 74 cents per mile after truck payment/insurance/fuel/tags/escrow/etc........
