Better late than never I guess. Sorry, I always hold out hoping I'll have something interesting to report if I just hold out a few days longer. Well, that never pans out haha. For the week of 1/6-1/12 I pulled 5 loads Gross revenue was $4215 on 2340 miles. Making average right around $1.80 for all miles. Net was $1935.

Hey guys, I'm alive and still kicking out here. I actually ran into a swift lease op the other day who says he's been watching our board and thinking about jumping ship. I told him to do it! I haven't said much lately, mostly because my story sounds like almost everybody else . lol Some good days, some bad days, some great days, etc.... Making better money than I ever did as a company driver, and enjoying deciding where / when I want to run. I have been playing catch up the last couple of weeks. I was driving in charlotte back around the beginning of february up i77, and a lady drove into the right side of my truck. Thankfully nobody hurt, but her car was pretty beat up, and my truck had a little light cosmetic damage. I decided I would run it that way because I had a week of vacation planned mid february to take my kids to florida for the daytona 500, kennedy space center and some other fun activities. I put my truck in the shop at the start of vacation to minimize the financial bleeding. I figured when I came back from vacation it would be ready.... only one problem... snow storms delayed one of the parts showing up, and closed the shop for a day. Then I go to pick up my truck on a thursday only to be told INS wants to send payment via USPS instead of electronically. So INS wants me to pay the claim out of pocket and they will reimburse me. Well, that went over like a fart in church. There was no way in hell I was coughing up the cash. So after being at the body shop ALL DAY thursday,I call my finance rep (Leslie Olsen) and tell her the load of crap I'm dealing with. She calms me down, gets me set to use my mma to pay the shop, and INS will reimburse my MMA. Thank god for a finance rep that does more than just take truck payments. I then set up a load to pick up friday A.M with real good revenue on it that will at least cover my payment for the week..... except the relaying driver missed pick up , and the load got pushed out til monday leaving only crap on the load board. Leslie was so helpful through all of it, I couldn't believe it. Yes, we pay a small premium for the convenience of leasing a $140,000 truck with minimal/0 down , but no other financial institution would be interested in seeing if they could help in any way during down time. Now I've been back at it for a little bit, and dug myself out of the hole.

Hello.
I just recently left Schneider. I love the choice board and everything Schneider offers. I just had an issue with the finance company . I got a lemon out of the bunch. Nobody could find and fix the issue. And they wouldn't give me another truck. So I decided to leave. I will work for Schneider national, but won't deal with the finance company again. As long as you get a Good truck, there is money to be made. Before my truck broke down I was averaging around 1600 a week. I don't run hardTennMan, mike101402 and freightwipper Thank this. -
I'm guessing you had a used truck?
