Nightgunner had really good information but has left for a closer to home gig, so I'm looking for other SNBC IC'S for input on leasing on with Schneider, as I am considering this option soon. Thanks in advance, harlycharly55.
Looking for Schneider Bulk IC's for their Info on leasing.

I would be interested also. Driving for 9 years as a company driver has been good, but looking for a new challenge.

Bump. There has to be at least one out there, right?

There's 2 ways to make a killing as a bulk IC
1.) Don't go home
Or
2.) Move to Houston -
Elaborate please. Although I agree that Houston will be involved in the mix in any scenario.

Well I'm based in Houston, but don't really want much home time as I'm single and my daughter and grandson live in California. I'm considering going to IC soon and would like to speak with some Schneider IC's to get average cost vs take home etc.

i'm a company driver, but i talked to a few IC's since i was interested in doing the same thing. they all told me they bring home basically the same as us company drivers only they get to spend ~850 a week in truck payments and other business related expenses.. plus buy their own fuel and pay for things when they break. honestly, i don't think it's worth it unless you get a good used truck and can cut those payments in half. maybe look into leasing your company truck if you like the one you have.

Which I would be ok with if it gave me flexible home time. If it meant staying out for 4 weeks at a time, then no. I'll stick with my company gig.
