If you have a rear end accident, it changes things. It might be on DAC or your MVR. If it is, insurance companies will pass.

With an experience level of 0-1 year, rear ending someone is a BIG deal and there is no way to gauge a pattern yet.

Yes, it will probably be on the DAC and most likely on your MVR, but the title of this thread was 5-year lockout. There are literally hundreds of companies that will hire someone with a minor rear-ender where nobody was hurt and it wasn't DMV reportable. I personally would get a copy of the police report to prove it was a fender bender to prospective companies...

If there's no ticket how did Schneider know? Did you volunteer this info?

If it's not on your MVR, then don't tell any other companies about it. Schnieder most likely has policy against rear ends, and for good reason. If it's not on your MVR, then do not volunteer it.

being a claim was filed they likely accessed that info. BE Up front and honest about everything. Was there a police report filed? If so get a copy so you know what was put on it. Check. The other party may have filed one without you knowing. most Ins requires a report for a claim to be filed.

They will consider the circumstances and may let you slide.

But DO NOT under any circumstances be found out in a lie.

    Leather Helmet Thanks this.
