Freedom Starts With My Own Truck!!!

Hi everyone, I'm starting this thread as a way to track my first year as an owner operator. I'm currently a company driver and I'll be running with Schneider choice program starting January 26th out of Green Bay, WI. After tons of research that I did I decided to go through Schneider Finance. It is not the cheapest way but it is definitely the best way for me right now. I'm going to share experiences with being an owner operator in the first year while going through Schneider Finance. My hopes are answering the questions I had while deciding to be an owner operator.

I follow multiple threads on this site and I hope I will get the same input from everyone else. I hope everyone doing well and happy so lets start to share experiences.

Its kinda slowest time of the year but I'm hoping freight market is going well

 

I believe most of them are in northeast which is unfortunate. I'm from NJ and I hate running NE. However, now I have to run smart so I can go wherever the decent loads are. Although, my personal preferences would be midwest and south.
