Abilene Motor Express Directions

This is a thread for Abilene Motor Express driver directions. Please be as specific as possible. Use only our companies codes as it keeps it semi private and eases in the search engine. Please do not post anything else, your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Please also post if there is overnight parking and any amenities you may wish.

If the QC or GPS is correct I will not post directions to keep clutter down.

 

BOHBR
-NJ Tpk xit 13 towards Gothels/Verazono Bridge
-I 278 east
-xit 30 Flusing Rd (go right)
-Follow Flushing to Bogert Rd ( you will see Receiver caddy corner on the left
-TL on Bogert, bullpen is one block down on the left) (gate opens at 0200)

 

PREJER
-NJ Tpk to xit 14A,B,C (I 78 east)
-Cross bridge xit 14A
-Pay toll, go straight across light (440)
-To Port Jersey Blvd
-TL on Industrial Dr
-TL on Polar Way ( 2nd set of RR Trax)
-Company is straight ahead
Overnight parking, also an industrial area

 

PREJER
Forgot to list that they are a driver/lumper load. Don't know what the lumper fee is as I loaded myself. They are also a pallet exchange, if you don't have pallets it is $8 per pallet or floor load your load.

 

HALSOU01
Specific truck route.
-I287 xit 5 Stelton Rd (go east)
-TR on Hamilton Blvd (Lukeoil station)
-TL on South Clinton Ave
-TR on New Market Ave
-At the stop light continue straight across (you will see and follow "truck route" sign
-Turn left on Spicer Ave
-Turn left on Belmont Ave
-Turn left on Metuchen Rd
-Turn right on Kentile Rd
All the trucks lined up on the right is for that company. The guard house is located at the end of Kentile (about a half mile down). If you drive down to the guard house you may have to turn around and go all the way back, PITA. You will need your appt number, drivers license and truck registration, do not forget these or it is a long walk back (luckily I didn't have to walk it).

 

MDVNO
if running I264 QC is good.

-I95 S to I295 S
-I64 E
-xit 281B
- Bottom of ramp TR onto 58 W
-Appx 1.7 miles TR on Kingwood Ave
-They are .2 miles on the left

Overnight parking. Driver/lumper unload

if you have to go to the other warehouse:
-coming out of the company TL on Kingwood Ave
-Stop sign TR
-Stoplight TR
-Warehouse on the right

 

PULDAL
-PA309 just south of Dallas
-Turn east on Main St (silver water tower on corner)
-SS Turn left
- 1/2 mile they are on the left, red sign, yellow gate.
No parking. Tight lot b/c of employee parking.

 

QUAMOU02
Do not follow the GPS

Coming from the north
-I81 south
-xit 165 A PA309 south
-follow until you come to a traffic light with a McDonalds on the right. That is Crestwood Dr, turn left
-1 mile turn right onto Oakhill Rd
-top of the hill you will see the drop lot sign on the left, continue on
- .7 miles from Crestwood Dr turn left into first entrance
-no parking on site

From all other point
-I80 xit 262 PA309 north
- 7.3 miles, 3rd stop light, turn right onto Crestwood Dr-1 mile turn right onto Oakhill Rd
-top of the hill you will see the drop lot sign on the left, continue on
- .7 miles from Crestwood Dr turn left into first entrance
-no parking on site

 

SAPMOU
- I80 xit 262 RT309 North
- 7.3 miles, 3rd stop light, turn right onto Crestwood Dr
- .2 miles (next right) turn right on Elmwood Ave (GPS and QC directions say Elmwood RD)
- Cust on left
- There is a restaurant with truck parking across from the Citgo at I80 and RT309

 

LUMCHE
QC and GPS directions are good. I have to add a couple points.

-swing wide onto Warren Ave right after the cemetery. It angles back and there is a telephone pole in front of you.

-you can either immediately go to the left to get into the parking lot or go up to the store and turn left into it. If you pull into the first entrance stay to the RIGHT, low overhead lines towards the building. If you turn into the drive by the store have your tandems in no more than 7 holes.

-you can line up with the warehouse door. He will tell you to pull forward between the two trees as they use a ramp. Stay towards the left because of that LOW OVERHEAD WIRE.
