I visited this facility last week and wanted to pass along something any driver needs to know if they are going there. If you are taking a trailer off their property, Loaded or empty, you must have the trailer number AND a release number from your dispatch. No exceptions! if you arrive at the guard house with out this, they will have you park in a lot near by to call your dispatch. Of course, this is time consuming, and aggravating. So now you know...safe travels.

Somethings in this industry never changes.I went thru the same thing yrs ago at a BJ warehouse in Mass. Can't remember the town.

go through the same procedure with every tyson facility also... many of the trucking companies charge the warehouse a fee for the trailer being at their facility, and since the facility, (BJ, Tyson) have paid for the trailer, it is theirs to use. The release number stops the payment.

Right..I've been there many times.
You need a drop number as well as a trailer release/trailer #.
I pull for Schneider so we have a ton of trailers there.
But come Friday they will be out of empties due to they only release so many per week..which is BS.
I counted over 20 empty trailers there one Friday.
Weds the staging area looked like a truck stop.
I only do drop/hook when visiting there..needless to say I wont be booking anymore loads going there for a bit.
Always fun.EggoTrucker Thanks this. -
pattyj Thanks this.

Just hope you never have to do a live unload there.
Having to have a trailer and release number for a drop is far less an annoyance than having to deal with the pita that place is if you have to do a live unload there. Hope you don't have anything else to do that day if you get unlucky enough to be stuck with one of those.48Packard Thanks this. -
Don't doubt that for a second.I used to go there quite often when I drove for Gainey.
