Shippers & Receivers - Good or Bad Load O' Freight That Just Can't Wait. Had a good or bad experience with a shipper or receiver? Discuss grocery warehouses, lumpers, and anything dealing with pickups or deliveries here. Does that shipper let you park and sleep? Does the receiver FORCE you to get a lumper?

Nestle Purina in Edmond, OK is a great shipper

I did a drop an hook there Friday, and the security guard handed me a Purina cell phone case on my way out. I just switched jobs and my other case disapeared. I was at walmart a couple of days before but they wanted $13 for one, too much I thought.
That Friday, I saw lightning strike an overpass just ahead of me, blew a small hole in the pavement. Got the case, plus won over $100 in a Indian Casino. First time I ever left with more money.

Nestle Purina is one of the few shippers that I know of that always provides something to truckers during Driver Appreciation Week. I have a small screwdriver set out in the truck that I got from them at Clinton Ia a few years ago. They are also a very decent shipper/recriver to work with, always getting you in and out in reasonable times.
