i need to know from lease purchase drivers from swift. how are your miles and how is it going for you. i wnt the truth. dnt be losing the shirt off ur back but saying it is great plz.i would like to know any advice you have other then run!!! i am really considering this but want to find out as much as i can. so plz any and all info would be greatly appreciated.
if you wld like to give some info on what ur making and expenses( tottally up to you, but wld really help) i wld appreciate that as well.

Averaging 2600 miles and $820 a week in my pocket, after alloting $.10 a mile to my maintenance account ... As far as advice, what's your business background?

not much of a background but i am very money savey. have a lawyer to look over contract and am in touch with my accountant to know that end of the deal. i am not going to this blind. i wnt to cover all bases b4 i go into this. just want to know first hand from some who are going thru it. thnks 4 the post. any other info wld be great to know. mabe some inside tips or advice. thnks in advance.

Your greatest expense is going to be fuel. There is far more to it than run, run, run. You have to run smart. Some folks get a lease truck because it goes faster than a company truck. With the gearing and hardware pairings in Swift trucks, they generally do fairly well on fuel as long as your foot isn't constantly on the floor.
Week before last was a little over 3200 miles, $1,600 after everything except taxes. Last week, very close to 3K miles, $1,100. I don't consider it a "good" week unless I pull at least 3K miles and average at least 7mpg. I would rather run shorter miles with higher mpg than the other way around.tdcanterbury67 and cuzzin it Thank this. -
