I'd love to know what everyone thinks of the new terminal when you finally get there. It's closer to home for us than Fontana is so I am only ever there to pick up my husband though I've been inside the ML offices a few times and they are in desperate need of repair. He doesn't really frequent anything at ML either because he just wants to get out of the truck and get home to the family.

Was there yesterday couldn't help but notice the signs that said you had to drop your trailer whenever in the yard ? I only got fuel and left though. Was gunna shower there but seen how many bobtails there were so just stopped at a pilot

The number of bobtails seen can be misleading... Many of those are unseated trucks... And I have a feeling there are more than usual parked in there right now.

If you have to drop your trailer (yes, I noticed that as well) you will see many more bobtails in the lot.
After all, their trailers are unhooked.

There were a lot of them when I was there, but there were a lot of shower rooms empty.
Some had been recently used, and some were spotless.
In any case, much better than any Swift terminal showers I have checked out or used.

If you do have to unhook, just secure your mt with a lock or two (maybe a seal) so everyone else knows it is attached to another truck.

My understanding is the new ML (Jurupa Valley) terminal will have plenty of showers, laundry, and a cafeteria. Can't wait to see what it is like.

I noticed a couple weeks ago they finally put designated parking stripes for truck parking in the new lot, so that part's ready. I remember parking in their before Christmas, when it was a free for all with rows so close together you couldn't get a trailer out. Had to have the yard dogs rework the rows to get my trailer.

Fontana closing down? About 12 years overdue, as far as I'm concerned.
