I notice a little FemDom in there somewhere.
Still, I guess turnabout is fair play.
It's all in the Spirit.

inkeper Thanks this.

I'm sure Steve would appreciate it. -
This, too, will be a concern of mine when I get re-hired by Swift. I had to stop driving due to health reasons; and now that I am exempted, I can drive again. However, due to an at-fault accident back in August, I've had to put off working with Swift until later this year. Should be good to go in about 5 months. Although, I've been "off the road" since the end of 2010. I'll try the road test; but I think I would simply opt for some mentor time instead. Who knows, I might surprise myself.

Being out that long might require a refresher course.

Most times I shifted were just like any other day.
It was weird. Trying to figure out how I lost the timing overnight.
Maybe not the correct amount of rest/caffeine ratio.
Most important thing to me was not crashing.
I'd get the POS in gear eventually. Well hopefully within a couple seconds.
When I was with Central, they didn't teach us the switches on the 13 speed.
When I got with the trainer I had to learn the switches and float.
That pretty much sucked at the time but double clutch would mess me up now. -
That's true. It is a timing thing.
I can start out the day shifting smooth as silk, and after a full shift I seem to grind it more and more.
Maybe my left leg just gets tired, or I lose some coordination as the day goes by.
And some mornings it is like I have been driving all day, and I just can't seem to get it right until later in the day.
Best thing to do for a road test is make sure you get to bed early the night before, and get a decent breakfast at least an hour before you drive to let your system stabilize before you drive. -
Still curious to know if recruiter was bs`ing Lycan that if one does not pass road test at orientation but seem safe...if they will pull you aside and train you a bit before sending you packing home?.... does anyone know if true?
Would hate to go down south, then thru all pre hire & pre-orientation but sent home on my own dollar if I cant double clutch properly for tester. -
I didn't see it happen when I was in orientation.
If you failed the road test they sent you packing.
Those were for things like running a curb, which even DMV doesn't allow, or doing something else that is unsafe.
If you are just having trouble shifting they might provide some help. But, I don't really know for sure.GranaRig831 Thanks this.
