PP special comments. 34000 lbs, 860 pieces. Tires. Turned down for more info. Got none. PP removed. Did I mess up or did they really expect me to unload 800+tires?

yep... usually the business helps unload. the load is broken down into the size/qty of tire. You will be doing a lot of climbing on the tires to unload.

So to quote the movie '300' " This will not be over quickly and you will not enjoy this."?? AND how would they pay? By the piece or by the hour?

Does Swift pay the drivers to unload?

Should have had on the PP - driver assist or driver unload.

Usually not a hard load to do.. The tires are zigzagged in the trailer. The business reads off the size/qty and you toss it on down and roll it to the door. Just a little time consuming, dirty, and if summer - hot...

Considering the wage companies pay, unless they pay me lumper fee,I will refuse to unload even one item.Companies are making a huge profit off drivers otherwise they wouldn't be in business. They should always pay extra for unload.Afterall on duty means you are working.Pay the drivers I say.

I get paid to drive not break freight... if you want me to unload a trailer then pay me $35.00 an hour for tow motor freight and $50.00 an hour for hand stacks.
