Critical event! What's next?

Its another system of control. If your carrier is giving you a hard time over this stuff, its time to find a different job.

 

I have had 3 events recorded and I firmly believe that if it even gets to safety is totally dependent on your DL. The reason I say this is because the 1st time I was BT, had construction and potholes....my DL messaged me immediately and we told him the circumstances....end of subject. 2nd time I was coming out of the Lathrop terminal....called my DL and explained where and when (wet tires from truck wash)....end of subject.

3rd time I was doing 22 in a 40 exit ramp with curve at the end......this time my DL was working in another state and next to impossible to get ahold of....long story short, between dealing with Safety and my DL's boss over the next two weeks, I ended up "signing" the paperwork.
