Haha, hear that. I had one on Christmas Eve that planned me to drive to shipper and sit two days when they opened on the 26th in the middle of nowhere in snow. I hope a new driver would never do this, but surely one will doh.

And then we'll get the "THEY FORCED ME TO SIT IN THE SNOW IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!!" whiney thread.

Spam filter would rock, I'm so tired of getting the "important" messages, I pull off the road somewhere to check it, and it's a #### message to put in for a dedicated position or some crap like that.

if i can i go as far as possible before doing the 30, just makes the rest of the day short.

but the new messages are worthless, you cannot drive to the minute like they plan, and almost every live load or unload i have done has taken more then 4 hours, NONE of them have got ne out in under 2

love getting a message 3 minutes after you start driving.... then when you pull off its some stupid message saying someone was spotted by the spy car not driving like a moron.

That aggravated me as well until the good members of the Swift TTR forum let me know that you can listen to the message instead of pulling over to stop the truck and read it. As you are driving you can go to messages and it will display something like "Message 1/60". Then press the middle button to the right of the display and "Judy" will read the message in that sexy computer voice.

To access other messages press the up or down arrow buttons to display "2/60", "3/60", etc. and press the middle button to listen to them.

You will need to stop the truck to type a reply as necessary.

"Judy" sounds so nice and warm and friendly when she tells you "You have reached your final destination". But when your QC breaks and you have to go to paper she takes on an angry tone. <first/last name> "You have broken hours of service regulations" in a stern voice. I had to laugh. But hey she knew my name. I'm thinking of asking her out.
