I am in Nebraska on i-80 heading east to Milawakee Wisconsin, well last night the Qualcomm went crazy while teammate was driving. He called and they fixed his hours and they said they were doing updates and that was reason for issue. So, I do my pre trip this morning and everything is fine, I get on interstate and it starts saying HOS violation. Okay, also psi is 90 to 100 and seems like coming from glad hand so I call DM just to inform of what's going on and then call on road ( after 29 minutes I was disconnected and then waited after second call for 01:13 ) and was told to go to TA for psi and then they would route us to a Terminal for Qualcomm issue. I am still pretty new and there is a DOT in motion weigh station one mile down road so my question is should I go like that and do paper logs?
Qualcomm HOS not working, should I route to Terminal?

Paper logs, carry on. Keep 7 days history as well. Fix at next opportunity. Your log is probably just corrupted and needs to be fixed on Monday,
27butterfly Thanks this. -
Do paper logs until you get to terminal...if Qualcomm doesn't work at all..have log dept fax you your last 7 days logs to you in case you get stopped...
27butterfly and ncmickey Thank this. -
Your company gave you a log book for such reasons like this,so better do your hours in it before hitting the sta.
Switches and 27butterfly Thank this. -
Now see why can't they tell me that, I knew you needed seven days of logs and that is what I was curious about. Thanks for the answers now I just hope weather stays good to get out of here.

have you tried rebooting the system. can do it 2 ways. 1-hold the head button down till you hear a beep then hit the middle button till it comes back on.2- find the black box and unplug the power plug. leave it off for 15-20 minutes then plug it in. if that dont work then use paperlogs till you get qc fixed
27butterfly Thanks this. -
Bah I wish some times that would happen to my quallcom, Lol I would take my sweet ### time getting it fixed
