Its rough gettin fatigued and trying to crawl through those last couple of miles. Dangerous too. What do you guys do?

Take breaks, take a 15 minute nap. Eat a light lunch, nothing fatty. Get a schedule.
mje and Skydivedavec Thank this. -
Fatigue?? You mean after that 10 hour rest you are still fatigued??
Oh boy, we are in trouble if that's the case. Don't let those clowns at the FMCSA hear you talk like that or they will start to cut down our hours altogether.
The only thing would be to stop and start running around during your 30 min break. I guess it affects some guys more than others. YMMV but it's never been a concern.tobie town trucker, Skydivedavec, CaptainKirk and 1 other person Thank this. -
Walk around and check your truck after you get loaded, 5hr energy drink, VERY light lunch. By light lunch, I don't only mean small, but healthy too. Carrots, some fruit, stuff like that. You don't really need a fatty meaty sandwich or a tub of chicken.. Lol. Just keep it light. I work longer than 10 hours driving end dump. Changing my diet helped dramatically. Avoid the soda too. Water and 5hr energy does the trick for me.
mje Thanks this.
