U SHOULD OF SEEN THE LOOK ON MY FACE...I WALKED CLEAN OUT DA OFFICE TOLD HER SHE CAN KEEP HER APPLICATION AND HER AVERAGE ....LMAO...U HAVE TO B CAREFUL N PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO SOME OF THESE COMPANYS WHEN LEASING ON....LOL
Or if my TRUCK AVERAGES
EXAMPLE IF MY TRUCK AVERAGES 5-6 MPG AND HER FLEET AVERAGES 7-8 WHO MAKES MORE MONEY?
OR IF MY TRUCK AVERAGES 7-8 MPG AND HER FLEET AVERAGES 5-6?
THINK ABOUT IT LOL
I DEFINITELY FEEL YOUR STATEMENT -
Math is obviously none of ya'lls strong point.. no lease operator gets 100% of the load, especially if they're pulling someone else trailer.. if $304 is 100% of the load, how do you expect to receive $304 on a load? FSC will only cover so much, and on a run that short, it's definitely not gonna cover that gap.
seems like you're getting 75% + fsc on each load.. which is alot better then most of these van guys are getting. -

There's a run that's handled by company drivers during the week, and by o/o on the weekend.
Co drivers get $76 per load which is supposedly 25% of the actual revenue made from that load (company keeps the other 75%).
O/O get roughly $291 per load + FSC.
So to start we find what the load is actually worth.. Knowing the Co drivers get 25% of the load, we just multiply their pay by 4.
76*4=304.
So now we know the load is actually worth $304
Now if the OP is getting $291 (not including the FSC) where's the issue?
The O/O are actually getting 95% of the load before FSC WHICH IS REALLY GOOD!!! Especially if they're dragging company wagons.
At first i though the issue was that the O/O wasn't getting paid enough, but now you agree that no one gets 100% which i hope everyone knew, so what could possibly be the issue?
UNLESS, the O/O's $291 is after FSC, and lets say they get it on loaded and empty miles @ $0.41mi that'll be $8.20 of FSC on each load which would mean the percent to the O/O would then be 93%...
Still not seeing an issue.. how about ya'll quit speaking/typing in code and just say what is going on cause either everyone is looking at it from six different angles and believe the other person knows what they're thinking or there's alot of information being left out which is causing me to draw bad conclusions. -
Company driver on same load gets $76 * 4 = $304 FSC is treated differently and given fully to the company... Not a company driver.
So $304-291= $13 ... This is a 20 mile turn So it isn't unreasonable to do 7 to 10 turns in a shift or day.... $91 to $130 loss in revenue per day for the owner O/O.
What we don't know is the exact FSC... It can be as much as 20% of the worth of the original load... If this is the case... the O/O really getting the shaft. -
The pay for the company driver and O/O isn't going to come out exact since as you pointed out the company driver doesn't get the FSC -

85% of the load plus FSC -
