I'm thinking about taking the position offered to me by Quality Carriers out of Rahway NJ. I'm just a little worried because a lot of these companies
seem to be in the habit of selling dreams. Liquid Cargo got me good and I can't take care of my family off of what I make at Liquid Cargo. It's hard to gross 900 dollars and that's hauling hazmat. smh. So I filled out the app over at Quality Carriers and they qualified me and I talk to the lady in Rahway tomorrow.
The questions I have is how is the money at Quality Carriers and are they worth giving a look? Or are they selling me a dream also. The lady made it seem as though Quality Carriers is the place to be. She said the company realize if the drivers aren't successful then neither is the company. That sound good but on the flip side it's the first time I've heard someone recognize that. So any info on this company would be greatly appreciated. I'm just trying to provide for my family and give them things I never had. Not looking to be rich but I want to be comfortable and compensated for my hard work. Any recommendations would also be appreciated thanks
Need advice on Quality Carriers. Basically offered the position just a little worried

I can't give you any first hand knowledge but I've always heard Quality Carriers was one of the best tank outfits.

I looked at QC right after I got my CDL a little over two years ago. I talked to the terminal manager in Wilmington, NC as that was where I was based at the time. I told him that my main focus was going to be my annual salary, and asked if I could expect to gross at least $50K annually. He said that would not be possible, so I passed on them. Your experience with them in NJ may be different. I'd suggest speaking with the terminal manager directly, or even going to the terminal and chatting with some of the drivers that are running out of there now.

I looked into them , I heard they have some kind of lease prgram like no other company .
They have a custom shop DB Kustoms that they work with , that buys a truck you want and then customizes it to your taste , then you pay them and work for QC.....
Anyone else heard of this ? -
I don't blame you. If you can't clear 50,000 annually hauling hazmat then yes that company isn't the way to go. I will find out everything I need to know tomorrow. I'm letting them know I want everything to be up front. I'm not falling for the liquid cargo trick again. I want all the info I could possibly get.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Also look at Superior Carriers and Trimac; no problem making over $50K with either company. Probably stay in the $60K minumum.
