Ok boys, this is what i got--

    04 series 60 engine, 10 spd, 3.73
    845K
Decent once moving --gears 3-8 good boost (my opinion--not fm a guage) weak in 9th and 10th in
    terms of pwr.

    So 2 issues --

    1. She has gotten noticeably worse at takeoff--w 40k in the can, in 2nd gear she sounds like she will stall (on flat grnd) if i dont give her a litl throttle and feather clutch. Whats up???

    2. She unfortunately has no pwr in 9th or 10th gears on hills; 8th np

    Your comments are appreciated.

    Thx. T

Sounds like a boost/lack of fuel issue. When was the last time air and fuel filters were changed? Any holes in the intake piping on the boost side of the turbo?

    KB3MMX Thanks this.

Filters changed every oil chg 15K--fuel looks almost new.

U know what i have noticed is that if i sit at a ramped loading dock too long shes really hard to start--which i believe is a fuel prob.

So does that mean air leak in fuel sys somewhere or ck valve etc...

Any way to best tackle this issue???

Series 60s are known for losing their fuel system prime. I would say that there could be an issue with a check valve or possibly air getting into the system on the suction side.

Use a vacuum gauge on the draw side and see if the HG" drop.

    HG" = in of vacuum..

If you have a leak on the draw side the reading will drop..

Have you checked your ECM for error codes that might be causing the engine to be de-rated?
