18-wheeler driver leads police on hour-long pursuit

    HOUSTON - The chase started near The Woodlands, but it went through three counties and ended near the Madisonville exit on I-45.

    Police said an 18-wheeler reached speeds close to 60 mph and repeatedly tried to hit pursuing police vehicles during the chase.

    A rolling roadblock was created to prevent the driver from affecting traffic.

    The chase lasted over an hour and went a total of 66 miles.

    The driver was taken to Montgomery County Jail.

    Oooooooo, 60 mph on Houston's interstates. Musta been some p/o'd people stacking up behind the chase waiting for his slow arse to pull over so they could get back up to their usual warp speed. Was this a relative of OJ Simpson?
