Have a 1999 t800 with a speedometer that reads incorrectly.....30mph at a crawl.....80+ at approximately 30mph. Has had two new speed sensors installed by owner. My question is there a relearn for these trucks or do indeed to look somewhere else.

I was thinking maybe the dip switches on the back of the speedo. Will it ever read 0 when stopped or does it stay stuck around 30?

Might be bad speedometer, and they're high dollar for a new one.
Have the settings in the ecm been checked?

I had a faulty speedo on my
2005 Kenworth. The dealer wanted almost $500 for a new one. I purchased an electronic unit for approx. $150 less and had the company set the odometer portion to my current mileage. Works great!
