    The Bad:

    The 2011-2013 Cummins ISX15 CM2250 had problems with ceramic fuel plungers failing and destroying the engine.

    I would try to find a 2014 or newer truck with a ISX15 CM2350, it is a much more improved model of the ISX15.

    Check the metal engine tag for the Cummins Model #.

    If you get a 9 Speed, it is convertible to a 13 Speed, which I suggest to do later on, or look for s truck already spec'd with s 13 Speed.

    It's a 9 speed this light just popped on idk of its regen light or prob with regen. Because the same regen light also comes on by the time screen when time for regen

    A friend of mine lost an engine to this problem. It was just out of warranty but thankfully his dealer went to bat for him and got Cummins to cover part of the O/H.

    So are you saying it's prob already messed up or that's a sign that it's going to mess up. I drove all the way from Indiana to virgina 11 hours non stop light still on. Doing a park regen now. Company says I have 30 days before I make a payment.

    go to Cummins dealer and check your engine number. that engine may have been updated already. if not then buy a new pump and replace it.
