2016 freightliner issues

    Update with fight with the apu. Keep in mind been a month now. Took it to truck and rv by springfeild term. They went through it. Problem is batteries on the truck. They arent giving the power needed for it to continue to run, hence it lugs down and dies. If you run it with the motor running will run and make it through ac starting. Thank god ra got me an appt at freightliner in the am to get a few other issues settled with the truck. Will post the end result of the next shop visit.

    I had the same issue on a '15. I put up with it for a short time, but then it got way weaker and check engine lights started coming on. It was new at the time with under 20,000 miles on it. Turned out that the wiring harness that controls the fuel injectors run inside the valve cover and a connection had gotten oil in the wiring and it was screwing with the computer.
