Seems like it... It's always some what of a gamble... The pros I see is::: N-14 motor, owner did the work at his own shop so it was probably well kept under preventative maintence

Yes I bought a 2001 last year and put 75k miles on it so far with verry few issues with the chassi. Mine is an isx though. I would have much rather had an n14 though. Much cheaper to work on. Not had any big problems so far.

Seller can SAY it was taken care of at owner's shop or anything else for that matter but it doesn't necessarily make it so. If he can't produce the paperwork to prove it, he might as well be lying in my eyes. All carriers are to keep a file full of this information AND it's a MAJOR tax write off. If the receipts etc cannot be provided I would pass in a heartbeat!
