How can we, the head honchos in Mondovi have them set at 63(65 in cruise control),unless you're an Owner/Op. Some of the older KW T-660s in the fleet can go to 67 but those are quickly being phased out. Plus we go into Canada and two of the provinces(Ontario and Quebec) mandate that CMVs cannot exceed 65 mph (and they use scan tools to check the ECU/PCM to make it's calibrated as such).

 

I like 70 with no difference in cruise speed. Gets the miles down faster

 

^Also drains the fuel tanks quicker too. Lol

 

We fuel before it hits half a tank usually. I'm not paying for the fuel so it's not on me

 

No AD isn't perfect but it us a good company despite some of the hate here. Yes some drivers have messed up our scores but now most of our trucks are elogs. We have all newer trucks and they are all maintained well trust me.

I get paid well and home all but a handful of weeekends a year and AD is only 10 mins from my house so no complaining here at all

 

The haters or whatever you rate them are going to trash your company without knowing the truth just to try to get a rise out of you. If this company that I'm running for declines any then I'd definitely jump ship to them AD that is. Talked to a number of drivers all good raves

 

Well this is the bad trucking forum. Somebody posted it for a reason.

 

And yet there are still drivers cited for not having EOBR information available when required (a.k.a. unplugging the ELOG system),not having logbooks available,falsifying logs,and so on. And half of the stuff listed is supposed to be checked on a PRETRIP INSPECTION. When your driving a CMV the general idea is not to attract attention to yourself or your vehicle-especially if DOT is on patrol.
