    They are right about the cruise, you must turn the key on and let the gauges sweep before starting, this has always been an issue. If the starter doesn't work, it may be as simple as a bad spot on the starter although you mentioned the lights went out and this means a bad connection somewhere in the main line. The clutch switch needs to be depressed completely, so no carpets or obstructions that can block the pedal from the floor. You can be your own detective on this with a helper, an old trick, is when it doesn't start, have a helper smack the starter while you attempt to start. This works with fuel pumps also in automotive, this is top secret diagnostic stuff, so don't share........

    Yeah, that's correct. Jeff is the freightliner rep in RA. She needs to talk to both.

    Also Savvy if it helps Kevin is the Freightliner warranty mechanic on duty M-F at PRISLC, he's very competent btw if you can get by there as others have I would recommend you have him look at it. He usaully has much less of a wait to get in than the dealerships.
