My money's on the train being at fault it was painted with invisible paint and in stealth mode .. You gotta be careful those things can sneak up on you
fuzzeymateo and pmcfee Thank this. -
I remember back in about '87 an Arnold brothers truck was passing another truck on the #1 just outside of Bassano (east bound). Because he was along side the truck he was passing, he couldn't see the train coming. The other driver slammed on the brakes to let the AB truck get by and see the train but it was too late. Hit the locomotive broadside with enough force to topple the 2 loco's and IIRC a couple empty grain cars over.
Don't recall the status of the driver. -
Considering the train is on tracks, I am gonna go with the trucks being at fault on this one. Unless of course it was one of those rare off-track railroads I have been hearing so much about lately.

3 trucks? How the heck does that happen?
-
Im wondering how the train can be at fault here???
AModelCat Thanks this. -
Sounds like the train was following to closely. Should've allowed space for such a situation.
